Description: Early Babe Ruth single signed baseball c.1920s. Red and black stitched Goldsmith Official League Baseball has been signed on the sweetspot, "Babe Ruth." The diminutive signature style and inclusion of quotes around the first name date the ball to Ruth's earliest days with the Yankees. Exhibits moderate even toning and a hint of light scattered wear. Signature rates 7 to 7/8 out of 10 offering fine contrast. Exceptionally desirable example is one of the finest condition exemplars from this era that we have encountered.
