Description: 1998 Sadaharu Oh autographed Fukuoka Daiei Hawks professional model Manager's jersey. In 22 years with the Yamuri Giants Sadaharu Oh captured the enduring admiration of baseball fans throughout the world retiring with a record 868 homeruns. In the years that followed he has become a great ambassador of the game and carried on his legacy managing some of Japan's most prominent teams. Professional model material from both his playing and managerial days is exceedingly scarce with this being one of only a handful of jerseys we have seen offered. Knit black jersey with "FDH" team logo and number "89" on front appears custom tailored with the lower (4) buttons sewn closed. Number also appears on back below name "OH." MizunoPro manufacturer's tag in tail with adjacent "98-" and "89" sewn on strip tags. Hawks team logo patch on left sleeve. Autographed on the back twice (once in English, other in Japanese) in black marker rating 8/9 out of 10. Light evident usage wear.
