Description: Fine 1927 New York Yankees team photograph. Crisp 8"x10" original image picturing the World Champion Yankees posed in three rows including Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Image quality is outstanding with strong original contrast and minimal surface wear. The reverse retains its original Underwood & Underwood paper labeling on the reverse with orange credit line border at the left edge which was indicative of the 1920s era images by the firm. It should be noted that the back stamp itself resembles the early 1930s Underwood stamping pattern: NMEstimated Price Range: ($500-$1,000)
