Description: July 15, 1966 Robin Roberts career win #285 game-used baseball (second to last career win and highest number within Roberts collection). Ball used at Forbes Field vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates in Roberts second to last career win game. This is the highest win number attributed ball within the collection. At the time of this game, Roberts was one of less than (20) pitchers whom had reached this level. Spalding W.Giles ONL baseball with vintage marker -285" notation (appears to be an underlying ink notation which has faded out and was likely later traced over by Roberts). Evident usage wear throughout. Includes letter of provenance from the Roberts family: EXEstimated Price Range: ($300-$500)
