Description: Lot of (2) President Gerald Ford autographed letters as sent to Robin Roberts. Both typewritten letters on White House stationery are dated 1976 and were sent to Roberts in congratulations for his election to the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Each letter contains very fine content inclusive of President Ford describing Roberts with "a sizzling fastball and pin-point control". Signed "Jerry Ford" in black ink at the bottom of both letters. One retains its original White House mailing envelope. The lot is accompanied by a Robin Roberts autographed 8"x10" color photo.
