Left shank has player name "Davis" above relief of a helmet which bears the number "57." Right shank has "NFL Players Association" logo. Inside band is stamped "Herff Jones, HJ 10K" with engraved initials "S.D." Attributed to Pittsburgh Steeler Sam Davis who wore the number 57 from 1967-1979.
