Description: 1989 Louis Lipps Pittsburgh Steelers Most Valuable Player trophy. Uniquely styled and substantive presentation piece crafted entirely of machine tooled metal buffed to a brilliant finish. 4.25"x3" Base with pair of columns supports a smaller base upon which resides a circular full color team logo set within metal. "Most Valuable Player, Presented by USX Corporation" has been engraved below the logo. The lower base has been engraved, "Most Valuable Player, 1989 Louis Lipps, As Selected by His Teammates." The trophy remains in fine overall condition exhibiting light wear. In 1989 Lipps lead the Steelers in receptions (50), receiving yards (944), and receiving touchdowns (5).
