Description: 1985 Louis Lipps Pittsburgh Steelers Most Valuable Player trophy. Uniquely styled and substantive presentation piece crafted entirely of machine tooled metal buffed to a brilliant finish. 4.25"x3" Base with pair of columns supports a smaller base upon which resides a circular full color team logo set within metal. "Most Valuable Player, Presented by United States Steel" has been engraved below the logo. The lower base has been engraved, "Most Valuable Player, 1985 Louis Lipps, As Selected by His Teammates." The trophy remains in fine overall condition exhibiting light surface wear. 1985 was Lipps's second year with the Steelers and he earned a trip to the Pro-Bowl along with 1st and 2nd team All-Pro honors going over 1,000 receiving yards, 50 rushing yards, and 12 touchdown catches.
