Description: 1984 Louis Lipps "Joe Greene Great Performance Award" trophy. 21.5" Tall trophy with (3) part wooden base supporting a black mini helmet which has an approximately 13.5" tall statuette of Joe Greene mounted on top. Metal placard affixed at front of base reads, "The Joe Greene Great Performance Award, 1984 Louis Lipps." Lipps was the first recipient of the award which the Steelers began handing out in 84 to each season's standout Rookie. Other notable recipients have included Polamalu and Roethlisberger. Exhibits moderate scattered surface wear with area of residue at front of helmet (presumably where a team logo was applied. The upper figure portion is slightly loose and the facemask is missing (2) bars and has a replaced screw. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions: Technical VG/EX with far better display qualities.Estimated Price Range: ($400-$600)
