Description: Exceptional Marilyn Monroe autographed photograph to Joe DiMaggio. Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio had a deep affection for each other which lasted until Marilyn's tragic death. Joe DiMaggio's love for Marilyn has been well documented and has been said by many to have been greater than her feelings towards him. As evidenced by the myriad of supporting materials within Joe DiMaggio's own personal collection, inclusive of the offered image, it is clearly the contrary. Offered is a beautiful sepia tone 8"x10" matted and framed image in a matte finish of Marilyn reclining on a satin chair smiling to the camera vantage. The image is signed across the front in bold blue ink, "I love you Joe, Marilyn". The signature remains very strong rating 9-10 out of 10 with very little, if any, fading to the ink. The image itself also remains very clean with a small line crease at the top right edge. The offered photograph was one of the most coveted items by Joe within the collection and it is with that spirit that we offer the finest Marilyn Monroe autographed photo extant.
