Early handwritten and signed letter on personal stationary dated Feb. 13, 1938 reading in part "...I have no group pictures of team you mention...I would suggest the Sporting News+Hope you are successful in filling out your collection. I am, Sincerely, Ty Cobb." Ink signature rates 8 out of 10. Age toning throughout with scattered soiling which is accentuated on left edge. Series of small circular mounting points on back are visible through front. Typical mailing folds. Earlier than the majority of Cobb letters in the market and would display far nicer than condition flaws may indicate if framed.
