Description: Rare Tom Seaver professional model baseball bat with attributed use to Johnny Bench c.1971-79. Adirondack model 302 bat measures 34 1/4" long and weighs 30.4oz. Bat shows superb use including ball marks, stitching impressions, heavy pine tar residue, rack marks, and light handle crack. Model 194Z stamped on knob end with vintage "5" written on knob and cupped barrel end. Likely a bat ordered, and possibly used by Seaver, which then was heavily used by Bench as indicated by heavy usage characteristics. The possibility also exists that the bat was used by NY Mets player who wore uniform number five during that time period but it given usage characteristics we believe it to be more likely used by Bench.
