Description: Fine 1976 Thurman Munson professional model baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 30.4oz. Superb usage characteristics are evident throughout inclusive of ball marks, stitching impressions, rack marks, small section of period handle tape, and a professionally repaired handle crack mentioned for accuracy only. Model number S44 stamped on barrel end along with desirable 1976 Centennial logo. "15" written in period black marker on both knob and barrel ends. Save for an example which we had the pleasure of offering directly from Thurman Munson's personal collection, the offered specimen is likely without equal of the known Munson game bats to have been offered at auction.
