Description: Crosley Field dugout bench c.1913. Rare and ornate original painted cast iron bench which was one of six total used in the player dugouts at Cincinnati's Crosley Field. The metal framework remains in original condition with vestiges of its period layered green paint consistent with Crosley Field stadium seats of the period. Wooden planks certainly show age but were undoubtedly replaced over the years, as necessary by the team. Very fine and scarce piece of stadium memorabilia of defined rarity.
