Description: Pair of baseball figural statues by P.Testi c.1910. Rare original bronze/copper plated figural statues depicting a 1910 era batsman in a batting stance and pitcher in windup pose. The statues are signed by artist "P.Testi, New York" and were cast at the noted New York metalwork foundry of P.Mori. The figurals retain a fine original patina with excellent detail and features. There is some typical light patination to the copper surfaces. 9 1/2" tall. The offered period statues are one of the more sought after of their type from the early 1900s and are not to be confused with similar modern era bronze reproductions: EXEstimated Price Range: ($3,000-$5,000)
