Description: Willie Mays professional model baseball bat c.1965-68. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 34 3/4" long and weighs 33.4oz. Heavy usage is evident including ball marks, stitching impressions, light barrel checking, rack marks, cleat marks, and pine tar residue. Model S2 stamped on knob end with faded "24" written in vintage black marker. It would be difficult to locate a finer Willie Mays game bat of the era with note to condition, usage, and provenance.
