Description: 1966 Vada Pinson original artwork by Volpe for Sunoco. High quality 15.5"x22.75" rendering by noted American artist Nicholas Volpe as commissioned by Union Oil and used by the company in production of a premium/give away item. Signed and dated in the lower right corner. Framed to 24"x31" overall with inset nameplate (minor wear to frame). Volpe (1911-1992) is best known for his yearly portraits of the Oscar Award winners and the series of (4) Beatles portraits done for Capitol Records and released with early albums.
