Description: Lot of (2) 1950s Vada Pinson award trophies. 14" tall trophy with bakelite base has figural baseball player on top (bat bent). Affixed metal placard has been engraved "Vada Pinson, Most Valuable Player, Bushrod Winter League 1956-57, E.Bercovich & Sons." Also includes 11" tall wood base trophy with affixed placard reading "Teenage Salute, Youth in Action Award -1958- Vada Pinson." Light general wear and surface soiling. Includes copy of 8"x10" photograph of Pinson with his wife on what appears to be their wedding day holding several trophies incl. the pair offered and letter of provenance from Pinson family: EX-EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
