Description: Vada Pinson figural baseball trophy with related photograph c.1958. Wooden based figural trophy with (3) handled metal cup supporting life sized baseball. Placard on front engraved "To Vada Pinson, for your spectacular rise to the Majors and for bringing honor to Oakland, Dan Marovich Pres. Oakland Boosters." Stands 13.5" tall with 5.5" square base marked "Block" on underside. Light scattered wear and tarnish from age. Includes original period 8"x10" photograph of Pinson with his wife on what appears to be their wedding day holding several trophies including the offered (VG) and letter of provenance from Pinson family: Trophy EX/MT, Photo VGEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
