Markedly bold signature rates a 9 out of 10 with uncommon and desirable date of "1926" written in Ruth's hand. The ball itself shows some general light surface wear and age toning with light, but visible, American League mfg. stampings present. Pre-1930s era Ruth single signature baseballs with definitive dating are extremely rare in conjunction with the superb autograph quality found on the offered example.
