Description: Babe Ruth autographed 1935 World Series Press badge with related ephemera. Vintage shield shaped cardboard badge as issued to sportswriter F.A. McKinney for the 1935 World Series. The badge has been autographed by Babe Ruth in blue fountain pen across the front rating 8 out of 10. Back of the badge has a small abrasion and two period pencil notations regarding its signing by Ruth. Also included with the lot is a vintage photo picturing McKinney with Babe Ruth and a handwritten letter from McKinney detailing its history.
