Description: Scarce Hugh Jennings autographed typed letter. Sept. 28, 1922 typewritten letter regarding tickets for that season's World Series. Signed in vintage black ink, "Hugh Jennings" with hand written salutation "Mr. John Dooley." Signature rates 8/9 out of 10. Exhibits light age toning and scattered wear with typical mailing fold. Several small scattered edge tears. Dooley was a noted Boston area baseball fan and founding member of the Red Sox "Royal Rooters." Jennings is exceedingly scarce in this format with this being the first signed letter that we have handled and one of only a handful that we have encountered.
