Description: Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig photograph c.1927. Beautiful 8"x10" sepia tone image pictures Ruth and Gehrig in Yankees home pinstriped uniforms holding a baby. Retains its original paper identification label on the reverse noting that Gehrig had taken the lead in the home run race over Babe Ruth with 26 round trips. Image quality and contrast is outstanding with a tiny edge chip at the top left corner and a small vintage red line at the left background area.
