Description: Eddie Cicotte and Buck Weaver original photograph c.1915. Incredible original image pictures two of the key figures in the infamous "Black Sox" scandal of 1919 seated in full uniform. Pitcher Cicotte is seated to the right of the controversial deviant, Buck Weaver, whom many believe was innocently caught up in the scandal. Following orders, Eddie Cicotte hit the first batsman of the Series in Game #1 to signal that the "fix was on". The matte finish image measures 3 3/4"x4 1/2" retaining very fine image quality and contrast. A few typical minor surface wrinkles are evident.
