Description: Baseball team cabinet photograph c.1881. Mounted albumen image pictures several baseball players in bib front uniforms holding equipment inclusive of a ring bat and ball. A number of other gentleman are posed in street clothing with wooden sticks, some of which appear to be billiards cues. "81" stenciled dating is visible on the brick wall of the building in the background. Image quality is very fine with a tear at the bottom right area of the mount slightly running into the image: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($200-$300)
