Description: Rare James David 1953 Detroit Lions sideline jacket. Beautiful original wool jacket was worn by six time Pro Bowl Detroit Lions defensive back James David. The jacket retains its original Lions embroidered patch on the front and "1952 World Champions" patch on the left sleeve. "James L. David" chain stitched strip tag is found on the interior along with Lippman's, Detroit tagging. King O'Shea tagging is affixed inside the collar area. The jacket remains in outstanding original condition exhibiting bright original color with light general age and usage wear. Offered for the first time publicly by the family of James David.
