Spalding Inter-Collegiate model JV-5 football (stampings faded) attributed to the 1947 Rose Bowl via handpainted notations reading "Big 9 Rose Bowl Champions, ILL.45-UCLA14." It has been signed by (41) incl. Ray Eliot (Head Coach), Julius Rykovich (game MVP), Mac Wenskunas (team Captain), Alex Agase, Lou Agase, Dwight Eddleman, Russell Steger, and others. The black ink signatures rate 7 to 9 (avg 8) out of 10. Exhibits usage wear and surface soiling. Retains air although partially deflated. Includes a letter of provenance from former player Chick Maggiolo who was a member of the Illinois team. Includes LOA from JSA: EXEstimated Price Range: ($2000-$3000)
