Description: 1901 Pittsburgh Pirates team cabinet photograph. Rare studio portrait pictures the 1901 Pirates posed in three rows including Chesbro, Clarke, Davis, Phillippe, and a young Honus Wagner. Image measures 3 3/4"x5 1/4" on its original mount which is identified at bottom, "Pittsburg Base Ball Club Pennant Winners, National League, 1901". Image quality and contrast remain very fine. The mount has been trimmed to a size of 5"x6 1/2" (originally about 1" larger around the edge of mount) and has some period tape repair to a few border tears on the back.
