Description: "F" 19th century baseball team large format cabinet photograph c.1870-90s. Rare imperial sized mounted albumen image measuring 14"x17" is housed in a Victorian floral decorated gilt frame. Professionally posed image depicts an arrangement of very well uniformed players with an "F" on the front of their jerseys kneeling and seated in the front two rows. A large grouping of stately gentleman are standing behind the players on the steps of an unknown building. Image quality and contrast are outstanding with a small surface crack at the bottom right the only mentionable defect: EX-EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$2,000)
