Description: UPDATED DESCRIPTION: 1944 Philadelphia Athletics team signed sheet display. 19"x25" framed display includes a sheet of letterhead from the Francis Scott Key Hotel in Frederick, MD signed by 32 members of the 1944 A's team including Al Simmons, Chief Bender, George Kell, and Connie Mack. Signatures range 8 to 10 of 10. Also featured is the original transmittal envelope (addressed in Mack's hand) and a 1944 wire photo of veteran A's manager Connie Mack. Original paper credit is matted separately and identifies photo as having been taken during spring training at Frederick, MD in 1944.
