Description: Roger Maris autographed professional model bat c.1967-68. Louisville Slugger 125 Roger Maris signature model bat measures 35" long and weighs 32.1oz. Bat has 016 stamped on knob end along with "9" written in black marker and a "33" pencil notation. Maris' number "9" also appears on the barrel end in faded black marker. The bat exhibits light evident use including several red rack marks and streaks presumably from the St. Louis Cardinals bat rack. Maris has added a large signature and inscription "To Hank Best Always" to the barrel in black marker. The signature rates 6-7 out of 10. Maris turned in his pinstripes after the 1966 season and headed to the Gateway City for the final two seasons of his career. During this swan song, Maris helped lead the Cardinals to two NL Pennants and a World Series title. Maris signed game bats are quite scarce with the offered exemplar demonstrating excellent display quality.
