Description: Oak sideboard with baseball carved dTcor. Large solid oak sideboard features numerous hand carved baseball decorations. The sideboard itself has a stepback top with a backsplash that displays two carved inset panels with baseball game scenes. Triple glass door configuration across the front allows for a beautiful display of period baseball memorabilia on the interior. The side panels of the sideboard both have carved baseball scenes with "American League" and "National League" titling, respectively. All of the baseball related carvings were skillfully executed in the modern era after the original production period of the piece by an artist much in the manner of the vintage Arts and Crafts baseball parlor suite offered within this auction.
