Description: E-Z Ball Gum coin operated gumball machine c.1920s. Cast iron machine retains its original mustard yellow and forest green paint. Blown glass bowl sits atop the machine base retaining its original reverse painted decor on front (light chipping) with a cardboard baseball decorative sign at the top. The sign is a reproduction of the rarely seen celluloid marquis originally manufactured for the machine. 21" tall. The machine appears to be in working order, but, when used, the dispensing lever does not release a gumball. Included in the blown glass bowl are a number of original period baseball shaped gumballs. The gumballs display various slogans printed on the front such as "Double Play" and "Foul Out". Colorful period display piece: EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$1,500)
