Description: Tony Lazzeri professional model baseball bat c.1927-29. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 34 1/2" long and weighs 33.4oz. The bat shows game use including repaired handle crack, cleat marks, and ball marks. Surface of the bat has been refinished to a golden brown color with the "Tony Lazzeri" facsimile signature displaying nicely on the barrel end. Lazzeri was a mainstay during the Yankees championship run of the late 1920-30s era. He was one of the Yankee greats who bridged the Ruth/Gehrig era with the DiMaggio era in team history.
