Description: Bill Walker's 1934 St. Louis Cardinals World Series ring. Rare early ring presented to pitcher William H. "Bill" Walker for the 1934 World Series in which the Cardinals defeated the Tigers by 4 games to 3. 14K gold ring features a large diamond in a baseball diamond motif setting encircled by the words "World's Champions St. Louis Cardinals". Enameled Cardinals and figural baseballs adorn each shank. Interior band is marked "14k" with faint name engraving "Wm. H. Walker". Ring shows minor wear to decoration and has been re-sized to present size of 7 3/4. Important and seldom seen World Series ring from the beloved "Gas House Gang".
