Description: ****UPDATED DESCRIPTION*** Bill Dickey professional model baseball bat c.1943-47. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 32.8oz. with evident use including ball marks, stitching impressions, cleat marks, and handle crack (period repair with finish nails). The surface of the bat has been cleaned in several areas, most notably at the end of the barrel. Upon further inspection, the end of the barrel has some more significant restoration than originally noted including a segment which has been replaced. Model #C119 is stamped on knob end. Bill Dickey along with Yogi Berra ranks as one of the greatest catchers in the storied history of the franchise.
