Description: Bob Meusel professional model baseball bat c.1925-30. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs an imposing 41.6oz. The bat displays notably heavy use including ball marks, grain swelling (notably to back of barrel), cleat marks, and general surface wear. Period "M" is lightly carved on the end of the knob. Meusel was part of the vaunted New York Yankees "Murderer's Row" during the 1920-30s era inclusive of the 1927 World Championship team. Rare and desirable exemplar of a key 1927 Yankees member. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and has an SCD Authentic hologram affixed to the end of the barrel: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($3,000-$4,000)
