Description: 1982-83 Lamaar Hoyt Chicago White Sox professional model home jersey. White knit shirt with "Sox" logo across the chest inside a band of red and blue stripes retains "Hoyt" lettering on the back with original #31. Embroidered 1983 All-Star Game 50th Anniversary patch appears on the left sleeve. Medalist Sand-Knit exclusive tagging remains on the front tail indicating size "46". Strip tag on inside of back tail features "82 Hoyt 46T" indicating year, player and size and an adjacent strip tag bears number "3". The dating in the tail as well as the addition of the 1983 All-Star patch indicate that Hoyt wore this jersey over two seasons. 1982 and 1983 were Hoyt's most productive as he led the AL in wins both seasons (19 and 24 respectively) and won the AL Cy Young Award in 1983.
