Description: Fine Ernie Banks professional model baseball bat c.1961-64. Louisville Slugger 125 Ernie Banks signature model bat measures 34 3/4" long and weighs 30.4oz with M159 stamped on the knob end along with "14" written in period black marker. A "Yosh" mark, so named for markings executed by a longtime Cubs equipment manager, appears near the centerbrand. Bat features pronounced manufacturer's markings including Banks' facsimile signature on the barrel and shows good usage wear incl. slight handle crack and several ball marks and rack marks. Banks has added a large signature and signing date of "1978" in black marker on the barrel. Signature rates 9 out of 10.
