Description: ***UPDATED DESCRIPTION*** 1964 Billy Southworth St. Louis Cardinals professional model home coaches reunion jersey in the style of the 1946 Cardinals jerseys. Classic cream colored zip-front flannel shirt features embroidered Cardinals logo on front, red piping, and Southworth's #30 on back. Rawlings tag noting size "44" remains stitched on the front tail above "Southworth 64" in red chain stitch. Wash tag with adjacent "Set 1 1964" flag tag is stitched inside the front tail. Jersey shows solid usage wear with no alterations or significant structural faults. After a productive playing career, Southworth managed parts of 13 seasons in the Major Leagues, including seven seasons in two stints in St. Louis. He was player-manager for 90 games in 1929 and subsequently presided over the dominant Cardinals teams from 1940 to 1945.
