Description: 1967 Lou Brock St. Louis Cardinals player contract. Original player contract issued for the 1967 season in which Lou Brock helped the St. Louis Cardinals capture the World Championship. In 1967, Brock became the first player to steal 50 bases and hit 20 home runs in the same season. The contract issued to Brock called for a salary of $40,000 and has been signed on the interior by "Louis C. Brock" as well as Cardinals GM "Stanley F.
