Description: 1919 World Series press pass. Press pass was issued for games played at Cincinnati's Redland Field. The 1919 World Series between the Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Reds is best remembered for the infamous Black Sox Scandal, when several members of the Chicago franchise conspired with gamblers to throw World Series games. The best of nine series was "won" by the Reds in eight games with games 1, 2, 6 and 7 played at Redland Field.
