Description: 1918 World Series ticket stub. Press ticket stub was issued for Game #4 played at Boston's Fenway Park. The 1918 World Series saw the Boston Red Sox defeat the Chicago Cubs four games to two behind two wins by pitcher Babe Ruth. The Series victory for the Red Sox was their fifth in five attempts, going back to 1903. 1918 would be the last Red Sox World Series Championship until 2004 with the 86-year drought being famously attributed to the "Curse of the Bambino".
