Description: 1926 New York Yankees team autographed baseball. Medium toned Wilson "Official League" baseball is signed by (24) members of the 1926 American League Champion New York Yankees. Signatures include Ruth, Gehrig, Huggins, Lazzeri, Dugan, Adams, Muesel, Koenig, Beall, Combs, Woods (trainer), Braxton, Merkle, McQuaid, Gazella, Paschal, Collins, and Skiff. Clubhouse signatures include Shawkey, Thomas, Pennock, Shocker, Hoyt and one other on the north panel. Signatures range from 3-8 out of 10, averaging 6-7/10. Ruth is light on the sweet spot with his last name affected by a large stain. Gehrig, Lazzeri and Huggins are among the stronger examples. Ball shows moderate general soiling and handling wear with a few small rust stains in addition to the aforementioned larger stain.
