The painting has been signed by DiMaggio across the front in blue sharpie "To Herb Best Always Joe DiMaggio 8/1/83." Inscription rates 8 out of 10. The painting exhibits rich coloring and has been signed by noted sports artist Robert Stephen Simon at the bottom. Simon is also known for several other Joe DiMaggio related artwork pieces which were subsequently reproduced for mass production. Uncommon DiMaggio signed medium with fine display qualities was signed by DiMaggio to longtime hobby veteran Herb Ross in the home of the late, great Yankees collector, Barry Halper. Unframed.
