Description: Woodrow Wilson signed book attributed to his personal library (VG/EX) Down the Ravine by Charles Egbert Carddock, published by Houghton, Miffline & Co. in 1886. Bound in gilt stamped green cloth exhibiting minor exterior wear particularly along the edges. Minor interior separation of book from binding. The inside front cover has been notated "From Mr. Hougton, April 26/86" in what we presume is the hand (compares favorably with known exemplars) of Woodrow Wilson. Wilson has also signed the book on the inside title page. The signature rates 8 out of 10. There is a "Nellie Wilson" pencil signature on the first inside page (Wilson's daughter). Interior exhibits minor age toning and other light wear. Housed within a custom foldover holder and slipcase. Includes full LOA from James Spence Authentication: VG/EXEstimated Price Range:
