Description: 1931 World Series (St. Louis vs. Philadelphia) usher's pass signed by Babe Ruth. 2 1/2"x3 1/2" paper pass issued for 1931 World Series game at Sportsman's Park has been signed in pencil by Ruth. Signature rates 7-8 out of 10. Pass shows minor soiling and multiple creases. Four hole punches appear at bottom. This usher's pass (along with auto. 1931 World Series program - preceding lot) was obtained by a young man who played in a St. Louis area men's baseball league in 1931. As a reward for winning his league championship, he and his fellow teammates were each issued an usher's pass for the 1931 World Series. He gained access to the press box prior to Game 2, where he encountered Babe Ruth, John McGraw and the others and obtained their signatures. Includes LOA from JSA: Signature: NM/NM-MT, Pass: VG
