Description: Collection of (18) vintage baseball related photographs by Louis Van Oeyen c.1920-30s. Attractive grouping of original photographs were made by Van Oeyen from the original glass plate negatives in the 1930s. Subjects include 1903 Cleveland team, 1907 Tigers team, Cy Young trophies, 1905 Cleveland team, 1932 Old Timers Day game at Cleveland, 1936 Cleveland team in dugout, and AL magnates photo. The 1930s era images are obviously first generation prints while the earlier dated images are excellent quality second period prints.
