Description: 1975 Carlton Fisk auto. Boston Red Sox professional model home jersey and signed World Series home run photograph. White knit jersey is completely original and unaltered including "Red Sox" lettering on front and Fisk's number "27" on back. Jersey retains orig. McAuliffe tag on front tail with size "44" tag stitched below and year "1975" tag stitched above. A washing instructions tag is also present. Jersey shows good overall usage and wash wear incl. staining and appropriate age toning. Fisk has signed the back in blue sharpie. Signature rates 8-9 out of 10. Accompanying the jersey is a framed 11"x14" photograph of Fisk crossing home plate after his game winning home run in Game 6 of the 1975 World Series. Fisk has inscribed the photo, "To Bob My Best Regards, Carlton 'Pudge' Fisk #27." Inscription rates 8 out of 10, while photo appears to be EX-MT. The 1975 World Series is viewed by many to be the greatest in history. Countless memorable moments unfolded throughout the seven game series that was ultimately won by the Cincinnati Reds. However, it was Fisk's dramatic 12th inning game winning home run in Game 6 that endures as the hallmark of the Series. Although the Sox lost the Series, the Fisk home run ranks as one of the greatest moments in Boston sports history. Includes letter of provenance from original recipient.
