Description: ***UPDATED DESCRIPTION*** Boog Powell Cleveland Indians professional model road jersey c.1975. Note, there is no sign of any 1976 patch on the right sleeve having ever been on or removed; therefore, the shirt most likely dates to 1975. Red knit road jersey retains its original "Indians" team name on the front with number "26" on back. Last name "Powell" is stitched on back in white lettering. Wilson manufacturer's tag remains stitched in collar noting size "48". The jersey shows excellent usage and wash wear with a few small spots of paint on the left sleeve. Completely original and unaltered. Boog Powell was a perennial star during his 17-year career. He was MVP in 1970, # 2 in the MVP voting in 1969, and # 3 in the MVP voting in 1966. In addition, he performed well in other years - in 1964 he led the league in slugging percentage, in 1968 he was fourth in the league in RBI, and in 1975 he was third in the league in slugging percentage.
